But what if I told you that self-reflection and self-awareness are the secret ingredients by which we can improve our communication skills? Let’s understand how..

Let’s understand, what is self-reflection and self-awareness??

Self-Reflection:-

Self-reflection is when we think about our thoughts, feelings and actions to understand ourselves better. It’s like having conversation within ourselves in our heads!

Self-Awareness:-

Self-Awareness is the ability to tune in, to our own feelings, thoughts and actions. Being self-aware also means being able to recognize how other people see us. When we are self-aware, we understand our own strengths, weaknesses and challenges, knowing what helps us in moving forward.

Let’s understand….How? and Why?, Self-Reflection and Self-Awareness are essential for better communication?

When we take the time to analyze on our own thoughts, emotions and behaviour, we share a better understanding of ourselves, It is the self-awareness which allows us to communicate more effectively because we can express our thoughts and feelings more clearly. When we better know ourselves, we can easily express our needs and boundaries to others.

When we understand our own emotions, we become more aware about the feelings of others also, around us. It is the self-reflection which allows us to communicate with compassion and understanding, creating deeper connections with others.

When we are present in the moment and aware of our thoughts, we can truly listen to, what others are saying. It’s active listening, which is an important component of effective communication, as it also shows respect and understanding towards the speaker.

Well! Well! Well..!! “Conflicts”, are a natural part of relationships, but self-reflection can help us understand them better. By reflecting on our own role in a conflict, we can take responsibility for our actions and communicate openly and honestly to resolve misunderstandings.

In Conclusion, Self-Reflection and Self-Awareness are quite a skill that can enhance our communication skills. By understanding ourselves, we can build stronger relationships and achieve success in both our personal and professional life.

Lastly I want to conclude it, telling….
